The Continuing Saga of the Leaky Pipe - First the Good News
The Leak is fixed!
The second Leak Detection company came out on Thursday, and found the leak about 5 feet from where the original company did. And seriously - he was right on the mark.
Friday, Mike LaChance, from LaChance Plumbing came out to repair the leak.
Jack was there to inspect the job site.
A tiny hole with 60 lbs of pressure running with 120 degree water, contantly, for what Mike estimates to be at least 8 months. How much damage could one tiny hole actually make?
See tiny crack on the left pipe, near the bottom:
The shiny new fixed pipe:
The patched holes. Notice how far off the first Leak Detection company was. They marked it at the L-shaped patch. Actual leak was around the corner to the right. Jack leaves his footprint stamp of approval.
